- MEDALLION: Author of two of three stories in a series, “Growing Up Transgender,” that won first place for reporting on “Minority Issues” by the Society of the Silurians in 2016.

- BEST WEB PROJECT: Author on two of three stories in a series, “Growing Up Transgender,” that the New Jersey Press Association awarded “Best Web Project” for its 2016 awards.

- NATIONAL FINALIST: Co-authored a story, “Local Officials Are Likely To Profit From Fracking In Southern Tier,” that was awarded a “National Finalist“ recognition in the student category of the 2012 Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) awards.
